Marc Luzzatto, Chairman

Marc Luzzatto is the Chairman of TLC and is the principal of Luzzatto Real Estate Value Fund I, L.P. (“LRVF”). He is also a principal in WECAL Properties, LLC, and Luzzatto Properties, LLC, through which he conducts other real estate activities. Mr. Luzzatto also holds equity interests in many other private and public companies and serves on the Board of Directors of Welk Real Estate, Inc. (the Lawrence Welk family real-estate holding company).

Mr. Luzzatto co-founded Diversis Capital, LLC, a private equity firm that focuses on small to middle-market investments, primarily in North American companies. Mr. Luzzatto is also the chairman and majority owner of Nylon Media, Inc, a New York-based media company.

Mr. Luzzatto was President and Chief Operating Officer of The Welk Group, Inc. from 1995 to 2007. The Welk Group, Inc. and its affiliates are involved in a number of industries, including the entertainment, hospitality, and real estate industries. During his tenure at Welk, Mr. Luzzatto made all commercial real estate investment decisions and built a portfolio of commercial properties that generated very strong, above market returns.

Prior to joining Welk, Mr. Luzzatto was an investment banker and began his career as a lawyer with a downtown Dallas law firm. Mr. Luzzatto has also been involved in a number of private investments and ventures, and in civic and charitable activities throughout his career. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
