In 2011, the Luzzatto Real Estate Value Fund I, LP through Bayside Communities acquired a management company and the general partner interests in 29 affordable housing properties totaling over 2,900 units located in Northern Caliofrnia, Washington and Oregon. Since completing the acquisition out of bankruptcy, the Bayside platform has grown through follow-on acquisitions of properties and limited partnership interests. Bayside Communities focuses on integrating affordable housing into local communities.
